Token
A token, in the context of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, represents a digital asset or unit of value that is issued and tracked on a blockchain network. Tokens can have various functionalities and use cases, such as representing ownership rights, granting access to services or products, or serving as a medium of exchange within a specific ecosystem. Tokens can be native to a specific blockchain platform or built on top of existing blockchain infrastructures. They can be fungible, where each token is interchangeable with another, or non-fungible, where each token has a unique identity and cannot be replaced by another.
