Transaction block
A transaction block, also known as a block, is a collection of verified and confirmed transactions in a blockchain. It is a fundamental unit of data storage in a blockchain network and contains a list of transactions, a reference to the previous block, a timestamp, and a unique identifier called a block hash. Blocks are linked together in a chain, forming the blockchain. Each block represents a set of transactions that are permanently recorded and secured through the network's consensus mechanism, ensuring the integrity and immutability of the transaction history.
